Hi I got a S+ with a WBA 11 SS. The Bv worked once I got machine up and running. Ran a bill or two. Had cash can out & in ran bills again. Things were working fine it seemed. Then a few days later I had cash can out/in. Powered up machine later and had no BV light. After messing with it. It eventually worked. Then it stopped working again. So Im running test. I did test #8 and the unit takes bills. I did test #9 and it gives me code 5 "Acceptor Head Error". Any help is appreciated.

Just try another head. WBA10, 11, 12, 13 heads are interchangeable and not software specific because that is in the transport. The most common problem I have had with them is the lower sensor board going bad.

Okay so I found a 12 head lying around. Same results. Code 5 with can in. Tried different cans. Have a transport fpr s2000 but not s+. Tried swapping the lower motor. No change either. Guess I need another transport.

Okay went back and swapped the lower motor sensor. I assume that was what you were referring to and looks like that was the issue. No code 5 and it took bills. Thanks Ron!!
