Title: vintage Bally slot machine
Post by: txplayer05 on September 24, 2015, 06:59:40 AM
I have a bally E series that when you turn it on it does turn on and lights up but then does nothing. There is nothing on the display and reels dont spin when turned on. Quarters just slide to the bottom of the collection tray when inserted. Anyone have any idea as to what i can do to troubleshoot it to get it to work? Thankk...Jaime

Hi, we will be glad to help you get going but we will need more info.
The best way is to post pictures of the outside machine front  and inside the machine.

I worked on one this week that had similar problem... One of the first things to do is to check the plug on the power supply. The next is to check for your voltages from the power supply. You should have 5V on one test loop, then 7.5V on the next, then 10V on the third loop.. Check your fuses too and the condition of the fuse holders..
Do you have a Manual for your machine?

If all that checks out ok .... I would check the voltage on the battery next and make sure it is not leaking acid.
