Title: Blinking top half of candle is flashing

I've been getting some help on the facebook group already but we still haven't figured it out.
So here's what we have:
Swapped games to Shocking Headlines, Legacy board on 044 CPU
Set up normally as I always do
Standard validation and prints tickets fine with plenty of paper in printer, no TITO
Replaced battery
Bill validator is working fine
After rebooting on events log one line says validation system tilt
As far as I can tell, everything is working as normal except for the flashing candle.
In a previous NLG thread there's mention that it may be searching for a backend casino network and letting it just blink is fine... can someone confirm?

Two choices:
1) remove top candle bulb.
2) get a TITO board.

Personally, I'd go for #2.  ;)
