How do you make your email address public?  I have "Allow users to email me" checked, but it apparently is still showing "hidden" in my profile.

Tilt,  I take it you saved it.  It also has to be a valid e-mail -No bogus secondary created e-mails etc. .  If it matches your sign-up it will work I would think.

Cliff  to the left of your avatar, first line below Modify is Account Settings, click on it.  Enter your email and check a couple of boxes.

if you click on the e-mail link it sends it from NLG to the recipient with your public e-mail address with DO_NOT_REPLY@newlifegames.com as the actual sender

if you view a persons profile it should show the e-mail address if they made it public

Joey has it set so you have to use NLG to send some one an initial e-mail unless you already have their e-mail address.
I gather so a bot that is registered as a member can't mine e-mail addresses.

Once they send a reply e-mail from their e-mail then each has the others e-mail

Foster you are correct on both posts.  I went to mail tilt and he has MY e-mail in there !.  Again Roz,  My link is not hidden, It works.  I read the wrong box, It was my e-mail, Nothing tilt did but my link is good.  Try it Roz!.  Note--edited---modified*****

Clif  Go into forum profiles and put your email in custom title. I just did but it seems to be leaving the "m" off of .com.  To many letters  :Scratch-Head: :Scratch-Head:
 
What the hell the "m" is there now.

So I guess the answer is you can't make your email address un-hidden then? 

Thanks Buzz. I really don't want my email address in every post, but did want to have it visible in my profile like it was on the old site.

You know it is active when you go to profile and it says contact me and your e-mail shows up.  Can easily un-check the box then --gone on that at point.
