Poor me. I bought the Pictured Fortune 1 slot so add a different game experience of my wife to enjoy. It has full sound, beautiful Caesars Palace Glass, bright chrome, a brand new clear CRT and the goofy sayings. I drove over 2 hours each way to pick it up. She had played the traditional Silver Jubilee Fortune 1 game while at a friends home and loved it. It paid left to right and right to left but they are no lookers. She even said that she would not mind if I got one for my collection. I thought it would be a hit. NOT!
I replaced a starter so that the game looked bright and amazing. I filled that tray with nickles and pulled up a chair fir her. After about twenty minutes I see a shadow pass behind me. Either we have a ghost or something is wrong. When she plays the games its for hours at a time while she chats on the phone or looks at crime TV. We were not haunted. When asked what happened she said "it just doesn't do anything for me." Duh!
Woe is me. I just wanted to vent to a sympathetic crowd.

Sympathetic? LOL, you got another slot and get to blame it ON your wife instead of being blamed BY your wife, that's always a win-win

Cowboy and Shaggy neither of you know this wife of mine. Since it was not the EXACT one that she expressed an interest in this game was MY choice. She already asked me when am I going to get rid of it. Perhaps I will put it on Craig's list locally. I will continue to look for the Silver Jubilee model that is spouse approved. Then and only then will the acquisition have been HER choice.
It ain't easy :fryingpan:

OK, I'll concede some sympathy your way, that's a tough deal

Did you get that out of the Detroit area? Looks like one that was for sale around here..

Cowboy thanks for the sympathy. Gary I got it from about 40 minutes west of Philadelphia. I am based about 30 minutes North of New York City. There are a lot of great Bally games in the Chicago and Southern California areas. I would be in BIG trouble if I lived there.

Perhaps you need to look for the Spouse model that is Silver Jubilee approved. :stirthepot:
I don't have that trouble, mine doesn't like any if they don't pay out someone else's money. Won't even play mine. Too cool.
