Title: WBA-12 Bill Acceptor Cleaning
Post by: Davew01 on August 27, 2016, 11:28:05 AM
Has anyone used  JCM Global's WaffleTechology Bill Validator Cleaning System sheets to clean a WBA.  The product is shown here at:

I was wondering how they work.

Personally I hate using any harsh solvents or cleaning products because of the risk of scratching the plastic optics.
On top of that, even alcohol wipes tend to make the plastic blurry which causes more reader problems.

Plain old soapy warm water seems to work best with a soft cotton rag.
Excessive amounts not needed.
All you're trying to do is get rid of some currency gunk and dust.
Dry out with compressed air.

Thanks you for your response. I like that approach.
