I just purchase a Treasure Wheel Wild that worked great for a week. Then a message came up saying the Rom has been changed and to turn the reset key which I did, then it says to turn the reset key twice. I did this also but it not do anything. I checked the battery and it is good with 2.66 volts, I also removed the chips that could be removed and re-seated them. Still getting the message Rom change error.
So I then purchased a cpu board from e-bay. Change the out chips from old board to the new board and also changed the dip switch settings to match. The machine booted up just fine with no errors but I it has a run away hopper that wouldn't quit until I removed the hopper. Reinstalled the hopper and machine plays fine until I press the cash out button, then the hopper sounds like it's jamb or the brake is applied. Message call attendant comes up, there are not any coins jamb in the hopper. Also every time I plug the machine in the wall outlet I get a run away hopper that dispenses coins just fine. So I have two boards that I don't know which one to repair or how to repair.
