Title: PSR Conversion Request
Post by: Toyguy on May 12, 2018, 04:44:55 PM

Anyone able to convert one of the PSRs in the File System from the .doc format to either .odt for Open Office or .pdf?  Open Office won't read the .doc format used and WordPad screws up all the formatting.  Specifically it's SP872.doc.

Thanks in advance!

Now that it is converted to pdf maybe we can get it uploaded to the NLG files area?

It's been there for some time. Just have to hunt for it. Right now it is on page 6.

I forgot to comment back to the thread.  I uploaded it yesterday, or at least I think I did :-)  Previously I could only find the .doc version also.

I just added it, then deleted it because I didn't read the rest of this thread. Yes it's there in two formats although it would be nice if they were ordered by file type/format by default.

OpenOffice should be able to handle .doc and even .docx (per their website (https://wiki.openoffice.org/wiki/Documentation/OOo3_User_Guides/Getting_Started/File_formats)), but perhaps the formatting IGT used for the text segments makes it messy.

Just to make sure you guys are aware, there's a great "search" function in the downloads area, right below the "Downloads" banner and right above the "Top Rated" banner is a small search button.  Click on that and you can search by PSR file name -- for example, I typed in "sp872" and immediately had results for the PSR, no hunting necessary.
