Title: WMS software
Post by: Tacman on March 12, 2019, 08:08:35 AM
Hey this is currently on Ebay. Its a multi game BB2 with the Games below. Is this a dongle required card? Also when it lists the games the game name is preceded by the word "Lava", so is this a Lottery game? Plus these are all BB1 titles.

Jackpot Party
Magic Lamp
Live Lobsters Dancing Nightly
Mermaids Gold

I believe a "lava" is a mechanical reel machine with a top monitor installed.

It is a pre-cursor to bb2 transmissive games.  It was a bb1.5 with a 19inch transimissive monitor and 3 reels with top 19" monitor as well.  The game will work on a 3 reel bb2 transmissive setup if you can get the reel strips fitted correctly into the bb2 reels.  The window graphics are offset by a bit because of the widescreen stretches the image out to fit and the spacing is not quite right.  Someone had asked about the possibility of running this game on a standard bb2 transmissive machine, and those were my findings as I actually have the 19" transmissive screen and reels to change out on my bb1.

A long time ago I tried this on my BB2 trans.   You need a clear set of optical strips and I found it plays but errors out when switching games, but it recovers.  I think to recover you just turn the jackpot reset key.  It's been too long since I tried it.  Like Rick said the openings in the BB2 trans screen are not in the correct location so the image is offset.

To add to it, it doesn't work with OLED panel.  It uses a standard button panel.

Oh well, was worth a shot checking into it. May not need a dongle but not interested in doing changes to the machine to make it work.
