Title: Conversions on alphas

I have a quick hits alpha here, a friend of mine wants a green machine for his wife to play ..... what’s all needed to be done to convert this to a green machine ?? Could I drop the top monitor into the bottom and replace sw with green machine sw ? I doubt it’ll be that easy but would be nice if it is

The easiest way is to replace the main door (middle door) with one from a v20.  Then all you would need to do is remove the top stepper bracket, the reel controller board.  You would probably have to leave the stepper backplane board since the amp board is connected to that. 

Although I've not tried it yet, if the Green Machine software works with only one monitor, then you could just run it as is (disconnect power to the reels to keep the reels from spinning) and play off the top monitor.
