S6000 Door hinge optic. (Door Wont close)

I haven't seen this one. When I have the cabinet I/O (J3) disconnected. I can measure my Optic power at pin 30 (Org/Blk)at 5 VDC. When I reconnect it and power up its gone. This with the Cabinet optic disconnected. Im thinking maybe the backplane?
Any input appreciated. I have swapped optics. and MPU board.

Keep in mind.....I have oldtimers. I seem to recall the same issue and it was the wires that run behind the reels to the backplane from the sensor.
