Hello everyone. I apologize if this has been asked and answered. Recently, I had the opportunity to purchase dozens of reel strips at a really good price. 3 and 5 reel...just mixed boxes of reels. I have a few s2000 machines. Thought it would be fun to change out the strips once and a while. I have belly glass and top glass that have no game theme..so I can use any reels. Problem is, and correct me if I'm wrong.. I need to know what chip I need that's specific to the reels I'm using. Can I use the strip # to look up the chip I need?
One machine I have is an S2000 double diamond. Big top beast of a machine, and has the free spin bonus. I noticed a lot of the reels I purchased have the double diamond logo. .but I know I can't just pull my reels out and put different strips on and expect it to work. It would pay out, but it wouldn't make sence, and I'd have no idea what I hit.
So basically what I'm asking is am I looking for the game prom or reel prom to match my strips, and how do I figure out which one I need? I'm going to try to attach a picture of one of the boxes I picked up.

From what I can see, your strips look like AC Coin strips. These were for special games, and you would need a lot more to run them. I have a bunch somewhere also. Hopefully there are some useable ones also
