Does anyone have a list of what cabinets & games are compatible in the 5 reel transmissive games?
These are the list of games I love. So are linked to a WAP, some local, and Stand Alones. I would like to know what cabinet these games can be played in, and what needs to be adjusted to make the progressive games work.

G+ Series: Treasures of Machu Picchu, Rose of Cairo, Golden Hammer
Goldfish 2: Mermaid's Wonders, Armada
Hot Hot Super Jackpot: Reels O'Dublin, Double Easy Money
Hot Hot Super Respin: Record Jackpots, China Moon, etc.
Top Star Series: Tiger Kahn, More More More
These cover my favorites. I'm sure there's more I can't think of.

The transmissive games will work on a bb2 cabinet with the right parts. You can also make them "fit" into a bb1 cabinet with the right parts as well, although not as elegant and definitely not "casino ready" look.
I can't speak to the Monopoly or any of the other leased games, but the following are stand alone and will work as described above,
G+ series
Alice games, although these are also available as video and the game play is identical. I've yet to see a transmissive set in the secondary market.
Goldfish 2 games
Hot Hot Super Respin
Top star series - requires the special star topper and they are all Dongle based games.
The Hot Hot Super jackpot series I've only seen as bb1 5 reel machines, and have never seen them as transmissive games.

Rick, thanks for the quick response. Do you think that the non-transmissives will still play in a transmissive set up?
I like the HHSJ games. OH, I forgot games like Wild Flurry, Ruby Ring. They have those circle top boxes. When time comes to purchase a cabinet, I want to make sure I get the perfect cabinet that will play a wide range of 5 RM games (transmissive & non).
The licensed games are the ones I really would love to play, if able to get a hold of them.

You really can't play the non-transmissive games on a bb2 cabinet, it would be really difficult to make the bb1 reel cabinet games to work on a bb2 cabinet. If you are really into the bb1 5 reel HHSJ games, the bb1 cabinets are really the only way to go. If you get a bb1 cabinet, you could make the bb2 transmissive games to work, but it requires extensive changes to the cabinet, like adding a topbox monitor and making some modifications to the door and transmissive monitor in order to make it fit into the cabinet. The BB1 cabinets are inexpensive enough so that you could just buy one for those game types. If you want to go back and forth between the two types of games having a bb1 cabinet to do both would be a lot of work to get the hardware in and out of the cabinet as it is totally different hardware.

Sounds like I'd have to go with one or the other. The transmissive games would be my #1 choice. They are a lot more fun to play. I'm not all that tech savvy to do a lot of changes.
I'm aiming to get Goldfish 2. So I guess it comes down to, what will work in that cabinet, especially having a top screen. If I had a basement, I would buy one of each series :) Space is limited!

If you get a goldfish 2 cabinet, you could easily play the other transmissive games. The ones that require a top monitor, you would need to get a top monitor for the bb2 goldfish 2 cabinet, but it is an easy replacement as the animator just "unhooks" and then you unplug the power from it. The monitor then hooks back into the brackets that the goldfish animator used. You will need to get a vga cable and a power harness to hook up the top monitor. As far as the reel strips go, you would just replace the goldfish reel strips if you are going to use the Hot Hot Super Respin games. If you go for the G+ games, you will need to get a set of orange optic reels for those. Best way to do that is to just get a spare set of 5 reels with the orange optics. Goldfish uses green optics as well as the HHSR games.

I have 3 reel and 5 reel kits available for BB-1 . 3 reel, Hearts of Fire, Emerald eyes,wild zone,swinging & spinnin, gold tag 7, golden cherry,7 Alarm fire,2x wild & crazy, double shield swords,triple charms,lucky money stacks, heavens rage, super high7's, colousus, ruby rings.
5 reel, diamond ring,fire island,wild flurry, wild frontier,double easy money,awesome 8, double life luxury, wild lightning, rages to riches, wild &wilder, super wild & loose.

BB1 or BB2 games? By transmissive I'm guessing you mean BB2.
