Anyone know what machines take Ceronix chassis 1492s [ other than Fortune 1 and 2, PE and PE+ ] and 1493s [ Gameking?, PE+ ? ] ?
-
Gordy, the 1492 can be used on many machines, there is a menu in the back of the service manual telling you what machines the chassis can be used with and how it has to be configured. There are a number of pads that have to have solder bridges applied to for the chassis to work in a different machine. they are labeled by the letters of the alphabet, it will tell you which ones have to be soldered per each manufacture. I have only dealt with IGT (PE, PE+) and Bally 5500 Poker machines.

Thank you Jim. Does anyone have a copy of that manual I could buy ? More importantly, what machines use the 1493?

I have these in bowling auto scorers from Brunswick also. they use 1492 and 1493 for their monitors with a color input board on the side.
I worked on them in the Chicago area for several bowling alleys.
Hope this helps you.
