Hello
I bit the wallet and purchased this machine. I love poker machines and ended up with the IGT game king I believe
Just wondering what model this one is attached here

Post a pic of your mpu board. There are different versions of that game. Also :NLG_WELCOME: Remember to power down before removing the mpu board.
-
Have no idea what a mpu board is
-
Open your door and it will be located under the shelf. With power off pull on the handle.

mpu = MicroProcessor Unit
It's the main logic board or main circuit board that controls the machine. In a computer it would be called a motherboard but in a slot machine the motherboard is a smaller/simpler interconnect board that the MPU board plugs into.

Thanks for the info. I will be brave and remove it so I can post the pic today when I get home

Removing the mpu isn't just to help id the machine, you really need to look it over anyway. These mpu boards usually have a battery on them to store certain settings and other data in a chip called the "cmos ram". That battery could be several years old and depending on the type of battery it is it may be leaking. If that leakage gets on the circuit board it will cause damage. Did you ever see a flashlight or some kind of remote control that was left for a long time and the batteries inside leaked? On any machine that is new to you the mpu board should be inspected to catch this problem with the battery. And sometimes there is water or beverage contamination on the board that needs to be found out about and cleaned.
When you get the mpu out of the machine post a photo for us. Also, there will likely be some chips on the mpu board that are installed in sockets, these chips should have labels on the top, post a closeup photo of them. That will help id the game software.
The mpu boards are usually made to just slide out but if you run into a problem removing it just take a photo and ask here for advice.

I saw the owner of the slot store where I got the machine from pull out the board when I was there. He pulled out the screen too when he asked me if I wanted locks on it. Seems like it was easy.
-
I think you'll be fine, just take your time with it.

here is the pic of the mpu

Can you also post a photo of your slot machine, showing a view of the front?
-
it is a 3902 board used in I Game Plus and Game King -- picture should confirm
