I am looking to change my 1 line 2 coin IGT hot pepper slot machine in to a Triple Play slot machine. I have all the glass but just need the chip with the right program on it. I am wondering if anyone can help me out? My slot machine is not a reel type slot it is one with a screen and the tube screen in it. I will supply a picture to show the chip that is in it now. I will also show a picture of the glass i just bought to show what triple play i am looking for. This is my wives favorite game and i would love to surprise her with this. Is this something i can do and what would it take to do it?

Can you please show a picture of the whole PCB, plus a picture that shows a close up of the CG roms chips and the color chip. This is a completely undocumented PE+ slot set. THANKS!!

Now for a more informative reply:
First off, there isn't that much information "out there" on IGT's slot chipsets for the PE+ machines and almost everyone is (make that was) interested in various Video Poker games for this platform.

So if there is the desired chipset out there, you'd need to change the program rom, the 4 graphics roms that are MR0, MG0, MB0 & MX0 CGxxxx (what ever your board has) and the color CAP chip.
There isn't a huge list of binary files out in the wild and neither the game that you have or the game you want are in that subset. Maybe some day some operators will look to get rid of all their PE+ chips and they will end up getting preserved and emulated in MAME. Then there will be chance of getting what you want.
With the PE+ platform being completely abandoned by IGT and casinos the likelihood that specific new games find their way into the wild is slim. I've been documenting and preserving what I can so these games can be emulated in MAME and thus the binary images "available" to collectors / home users to fix or modify their own machines. It would seem most all operators / collectors here have already donated what they have for the sake of others and emulation.
I know that doesn't help you out. But it does give you an idea of what's needed and what's available. Now if you were looking for a Multi Poker set, that would be much easier.

I guess I didn't realize that Triple Play wasn't documented anywhere. My local casino just got rid of a PE+ Triple Play game. Not that I would have been able to find out chip numbers anyway... I'll keep my eyes open though.

Here is a picture of the full board. I think this is what you are asking for. This is off my hot peppers two coin one line slot. Let me know if you need anything else.
Also if i cannot find a triple play for now is there any other games i can switch my slot to. How do i go about or where can i get any other games?
I am very comfortable changing out the chips and i do have a chip puller.

Some of the folks here may be able to help you with other game chips. And the various MAME websites often have the software available for download, you'd need to have an eprom burner to program your own chips. There is one hitch, the CAPX chip (U43) is a special prom that is hard to find nowadays, someone came up with a mini adapter board that will let you use a different prom that is easier to find. The info about this CAPX adapter board is here on NLG somewhere, maybe someone remembers more about it. Sometimes when installing different game software you can use the same CAPX chip you already have because it is compatible with several game sets.

That information you found is for a different Triple Play machine made by IGT. It is for the model called S-Plus (or S+). Sometimes slot machine companies will reuse a game title on another model of machine. Those "SSxxxx" numbers refer to one of the game chips for the game, there are several of them so a casino can select the player payback percentage they want to have. That software is not compatible with your PE+ machine.

Perhaps you could consider getting a Triple Play S+ machine? You said it was a favorite game for you and wife, maybe it was an S+ Triple Play machine that she played in the casino?

ok, I think there is a misunderstanding. Those are photos of the Triple Play machine at the casino, correct? What I wanted to see is a photo of your PE+ machine Hot Peppers you own. In your first post you showed the roundtop glass you just bought for it, I've not seen a roundtop PE+ machine. Thanks!

Sorry for the misunderstanding here is the Hot Pepper Machine we have at home. I just hit the 5K last week. That is why we are now looking for the triple play.
Also how do i turn my picture they are correct on my computer but when i uploaded they come out sideways.

That's an attractive machine, thanks for posting the photo! Where did you find it, was it for sale at a local casino when they updated, or maybe you bought it from a slot machine dealer? First time for me to see a PE+ with slot game and the round top.
A lot of people have this "sideways" photo thing happen when they upload a photo taken from their mobile device. I don't know if it is due to your handheld and the way you have it turned when you take the photo which causes it to get marked as landscape or portrait, or if the problem is something else.
Do you mean you are going to get another machine because you hit the top payout?? The Hot Peppers still works ok, right?
I've got an old desktop with photo software that lets me turn your photo upright.

The hot peppers machine works perfect. So that is why i am looking for the chips to switch to a triple play. I bought it off craigslist for a few hundred buck. I did have to clean it up a little but we love it. I am sending my chips to BrianT so he can pull the program off the chips and save them for others to use.

Where is the $5 Triple Play machine you posted photos of? That nearly looks like the one that used to be at Mystic Lake Casino in Minnesota, but the other PE+ slots in the background don't match.

So i got the Chips from Brian today and my questions is What is the start up process after i put the new chips in he sent me or do i just put in the chips and turn the slot back on???
