Title: hopper coin counter part broken help ID part

I am trying to ID this part photos show where its at best I can tell is this is the part but I cant find anyone who sells this thing
any tips anyone?

this black part would normally have a shaft sticking out that holds the optio interrupt rocker thing.

you don't need that part or the cover, that was a fix for people trying to use a laser pen to fool the optics.  you only need the horseshoe type part, secure it to the same place. CAUTION  you may need to shorten the machine screw, if its to long it will hit the pinwheel and prevent it from turning.

well the problem is that part I photo of has a metal shaft that broke off I need that for the horeshoe part to fit in

no. you do away with the part you pictured and the cover shroud,  you attach the horseshoe part directly to the hopper housing.

ahhh! I get it now (by looking at another unit)

ok few things that someone went to all the work to cheat the laser thats awesome and crazy - too much free time for some change!

Also I just finished "re-manufacturing" the broken part I was so proud but it wont be used! haha
