Title: bally 6000 wont payout

friend scored a nice 6000 for 20 bucks at garage. every single dip switch was on. i set the dips according to a pic of a board i found online. after a clear, it accepts coins and works, but you cant cash out, nothing happens. also, the bill validator never even cycles when you turn the game on, then shows the error red circle.  is it a dip setting, a menu setting, or both?

Just for absolute clarity... You said it accepts coins. Does it accept bills?
