I think my LCD died. The game will boot up and play but screen is now dark. I can see a green LED blinking at the back. I checked connections and they seem ok. It went dark once before and I powered off the machine and waited a bit and it came on and was fine for about a month. Now tonight when I turn it on nothing. It was made in 2006 so is this about the life expectancy? This is my first I game. Thanks Mike :hissyfit:

If the green light is on then I am guessing the voltage inverter is out in it. They make generic inverters but you need to know how many outputs it has. This board should be a long narrow board and probably has four sets of leads plug into it. Picture is attached showing an open frame monitor and the voltage inverter is the left most board. Forgot to add this is a voltage step up board so take caution working around it. Make sure no power is applied to monitor when you work on it. Ouch!!! just a thought on my part. Ted

Here is the back of mine. It also has model #WGF0003. It looks a little different. It looks like it was converted. I do not see the power invertor board.

Inverter is probably inside the metal cover. Some of these are difficult to take apart and some the back metal shield comes off very easy. The PC board on the back looks like the controller for the touch screen. There are probably others on here more familiar with this setup. Good Luck

I took it apart and found the board like you suggested. I found one through Wells Gardner for $45. So I just ordered it and hopefully it fixes it. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. :applause: Karma for you

I replaced the inverter board. Powered it up and crossed my fingers. :Scratch-Head: Still a dark screen so I am still looking for a solution. If anyone knows a source for replacement LCD monitors for 17" I games let me know. I will call Wells Gardner today and see if I can send it in to them. Thanks for any help or suggestions. Mike

Mike, check out Patriot Gaming. They had reconditioned Ceronix 17" slide-in models for the Igame for $149. They are 25 pin, but for another $17 you can get the 19 pin harness and change it out. It comes with the bezel, too. They have a shop in Indiana, but don't go there. Order and ship.
