Need more info to diagnose the problem. That's kind of like saying I have a car that when I turn the key it says service engine. Could be several things, but there is nothing that cant be fixed on those machines. If the machine is in good shape and the price is right I would take a chance on it. The most cost would lie in the monitor if it is bad second would be the MPU. Does he know what version GK it is. Also is the monitor CRT or LCD. Post a pic of the machine if possible.

For that price I think I would take a chance as long as its an upright machine.

Not sure what the blue screen means. I haven't ran into that one. Hang in there, someone with more knowledge than me i'm sure will chime in soon. If possible post a pic of the screen.

First of all, you are not being clear s2000 game king.  It is either an s2000 OR a gameking, but not both.  Can you post a picture of the error?  It could just be an attendant, or a low battery.  Based on the comment of a blue screen, I'm leading toward it being a gameking.  An s2000 is a mechanical reel stepper slot, not a video slot.
