So I've got more Alpha toppers laying around than I'll ever need and I was wondering if anyone has ever installed one on a S6000 or if it's even possible to do so? Obviously I'd like to do just that since S6000 toppers seem hard to come by these days. I know I'll have to rewire since the plugs are different but I thought I'd check to see if it was even worth the attempt. Any advice will of course be greatly appreciated.

So to answer my own question, no...
There is no suitable place in a s6000 to access the correct voltages to run an alpha topper. Or at least none that I could find.
What I ended up doing is powering the alpha topper independently with a small 24-12-5V power supply that I had laying around which is hooked up to the switched 110v in the machine. I haven't put the finishing touches on it yet but so far it works great.

I just saw this post, I put mine on back in 2010 with the help of the old site!
I hooked it up pretty much the way you did.

That's a great looking machine, I always liked Bonus Frenzy.
Here's a pic of the machine I've been working on with the alpha topper all finished.

Looks great!
That topper really finishes the machine off

Thanks! I still need to get the printer back in it with a tito but other than that I'm calling this one finished.
