Title: Bitten by the Slot machine bug
Post by: Knuckles on October 08, 2017, 04:52:42 PM
I'm a newby here and I just wanted to say hello.  I stumbled onto an IGT S2000 5X pay machine and have been bitten hard by the slot machine bug.  The board had severe damage from a leaking battery so I got a new board - then I messed up an eprom chip by installing it backwards (still learning) so I got new chips for it but I needed to get clear chips and reset the machine - had to leave town for a week so that'll be waiting for me when I get back.  Hopefully I can get it working!!  Tons of great info in this forum that's really helped me learn quickly. Thanks to everyone who has shared their knowledge!  I'll report back when I get a chance to try out the clear chips.

Welcome to NLG. If you decide you need help, post your topic in the S2000 and Vision games forum. Sounds like you're off to a good start. Make sure to make plenty of room for the next 2,3,4. They multiply pretty fast.

CAUTION do not leave your machine alone at night they multiply faster than rabbits.
Plenty of information here at NLG.
Good luck with your new found hobby addiction.  :applause:
