Just wanted to chime in real quick... If your G23 has the "split" or "All in one" backplane, you should be good.

But if you decide to put them in another type of cabinet and have the small remote controller board for some reason, your button board will need a Blackfin chip with minimum 04 and a Black Fin Dynamic Button Driver flash of 08E (attract mode) or 11E (non-attract mode) to drive the buttons correctly. The "E" at the end means "English".

Just didn't want you installing them and thinking you got "bad buttons" if you had the older set-up and they didn't work correctly...

Hope this helps....

He's just replacing most of his edgelit with these because the ones that came on his machine are faded pretty bad.

Good info to know though. I thought about upgrading my G20 dynamics to edgelit.... I knew I needed the board to be flashed but would need a new deck too seeing the buttons are slightly different sizes, F all that!

I upgraded my G20 dynamic buttons to the edge lit ones, they fit fine on my old deck.

10 in the middle fit fine. Dremel tool with cut-off disc works great shaving off .060” on the outter 4 holes. Don’t forget your 14-button ribbon And to change your DIP switches for 14!   :cool_thumb_up:

Ah, that's what he meant, the side buttons. Thanks for the info!

Bought this set from Harvs, always get a pic of these switches lite before you buy. Harvs has the best price, they look great on my G23, really bright and clean.
