Title: My gameroom begins!!!
Post by: rickhunter on May 22, 2014, 08:59:32 AM
Cleared out almost all boxes from the move out of the eventual game room.  I moved in 4 machines last night waiting on this weekend when I can build the center stand for 6 machines.

It's halfway there.  Here's an update.  I designed basically a huge 4x8 platform where I put 8 machines.  Along the far wall I will build another stand to hold 5 machines with some storage underneath.  I was going to build storage for the platform, but the support columns got in the way, so I have a little room, but certainly not for the drawers I had planned.

I just realized the picture on top is before I re-arranged machines.
Picture 1 from left to right:
BB2 converted from BB1, BB1 5 reel stepper, WMS 550, 17" gameking/igame+, Bally Gamemaker HD (v20/20)

Picture 2 from left to right:
Alpha S9000E 3 reel stepper, Alpha S9000E 5 reel stepper, Alpha S9000E  Reel Winners.

When the far wall stand is complete it will have a pair of S2000's, a pair of S+, and a WMS 4xx dotmation (from the reclamation project which I have yet to start)

Never recall seeing the multi-game glass for the 550.  Are you running that in the machine?

No, but I have the set, it is just not installed in-game now.  It is basically a wms version of gameking.  Has poker, keno, and blackjack.

Rick, i have 2 versions a & b of the multi games, for some reason it was always an issue to load properly.  I prefer the  Gameking games and interface.

Great looking setup, and great looking machines;  Wouldn't expect anything less from you.

There's a trick to it.  You cannot use a 1.5 plus board, it will not work.  You have to use a 1.5 board with the eprom extender board, it is the only way the game works.

Very odd.  I actauuly had one version work one time with a 1.5plus but after that nothing, same with the other set.  I know that some of the chips are 4mb and the jumper needs to be changed.

Even with the jumper in the correct position, I've never been able to get those game sets to work.  So I have an old 1.5 board that I use exclusively for those game sets.
