Title: BB2 Fiber Optics Board

I bought a bb2 machine,
In the top box is a board i found out is a fiber optics board and has a serial port cable going to the back pane.
But no fiber optics cables connected.
My question is what is this for.
Is it for lights in a casino ?

I looked it up and found this at patriot gaming.
It says its a bb1 fiber optics board.
But it was hooked up in my bb2.
Serial cable on back pane. And powered by 115. Volts.

It's for casino backend stuff, worthless on a home machine.
