Title: Bb2 alice tea party.
Post by: TboneHavasu on February 24, 2018, 12:02:25 PM
Does this make sence.
I have two machines.
One has a pull handle and the other does not have a handle.
Alice will play on the machine with the handle.
But wont work on the machine without the handle.
Am i missing some thing?
This is the video version of the game..

Are there other differences in the two machines? Like how much RAM is on the cpu board, or is the operating system different, is the player pushbutton configuration different, etc?

The machine with the handle has 1 gig of ram 40 gig hard drive.oled button panel.
The other machine without the handle has 2 gig ram and 40 gig hard drive.
The game cards match. I can install it in the one machine with handle and it plays.
But then tryed to install same game in the other machine and wont install.
Ill try again in awhile and write what the screen says..

Bump.

1) Handle and Size of Hard Drive have nothing to with it
2) Easy thing would be to swap CPU's - Problem Solved then update the CPU
3) Add more Ram, most 1gb CF Game Cards will need 2gb Ram and never hurts to have more anyway. Try swapping the 2gb Ram card into the     CPU not working would take seconds and could be all you need to do
4) Compare the Bios Chip on each CPU, or on first screen on start up are they exact in appearance
5) That Bumping a thread in less than a day may piss people off, 30 days no problem but in less than a day, come on

All website forums, blogs, discussion groups, etc have certain guidelines. People being people, they aren't always followed but it's better when they are. Otherwise things start to breakdown and pretty soon the place starts to resemble the chaos & trash you see on f#cebook and tw##ter. Also, don't think of NLG as your social media outlet. It isn't. No one wants to hear about your personal problems or your money problems. Take it somewhere else.

Here's a link that shows the common guidelines that a website forum needs. Not all of these apply here but hopefully they will be helpful.

...Sorry about the bump.
Did not know that was rude.
.
Just a question?
With all the phone cameras taking bigger mb pics why are you limited on sending small mb pics..

Bumping a post so soon after the original post shows impatience and is improper behavior. Everyone saw it, if they wanted to respond they would. At the top of every thread topic it shows how many times the thread has been viewed. See image below:

Operating a website and storing the photos you upload takes up space on the website server. This website has thousands of repair posts with photos. They are retained for history, so someone can look back and see if they can find help for the problem they have with their machine. Huge photos are not needed for clarity, they only waste storage space and bandwidth when the photo is transferred over the internet to get displayed on all the various viewer's screens. Limiting the size of photos helps keep website costs lower. NLG could store larger photos, but you'd have pay a larger monthly fee for all access. This is the tradeoff. Your phone is capable of taking huge high-res photos because nowadays it is cheap for the phone mfr to do that and a selling point for the phone. It's up to the poster to down-size his photo to fit the size requirements. Most phones have a setting for smaller filesize photos, you just have to go into your phone's settings to find it. Also, many phones set the orientation (landscape, protrait) when the photo is taken in a way that gets it posted here sideways or upside down. If you see your photo posted that way just ask an NLG staff person to correct it. There's a link at the bottom of every post so you can send a short message to the moderator. See the image above.

I just cleaned this topic up.  As of this post this topic has been viewed 175 times.  If the suggestions that Blueridgeslots didn't help clear up your problem maybe you can take some better pics and upload them so we can see them.
