I replaced the batt for him and it wouldnt boot just lights all amber leds and goes no further........clear and set chips i have for 2000s are .. IVC00224 and Key 00045.....will these chips work with this game ? .... it did eventually boot but it takes a long time for it to boot up .... few mins I dont know if thats normal with this game or not ....now its giving a coin out jam error.... so apparently its looking for a hopper thats not there...... settings will have to be reconfiged Im sure.......will the set chip I have work ok with this game ??

Yes the chip set you have will work. 6-8 minutes boot time normal. Top screen is only touch screen during game play.
Otherwise it's a normal S2000 as far as button panel and clear/key procedure. Normal boot will show VFD "waiting for video display " top box will go through it's boot procedure (at least 5 minutes) then reels will spin and game should be ready to go.

That would be an I-game not a Reel Touch. A little different,I will move it to the correct location.

Your S2000 clear and key will not work in an I-game.  Post a picture of the mpu if you can as well as the base and gme chip numbers and I can tell you the correct key for it.  It's normal for I-games to take awhile to boot up.  The screen colors will change (solid red/green/blue/yellow..etc) as it tests memory and goes through the start up processes.
