Title: Mk 6 power supply problem

Hi have a Mk6 main board machine ( wheres the Gold) doesn't boot up no 24v supply coming from power supply also 240 volt out of power supply does not work the power supply for the LCD monitor but it has 236volts on the cable. no fluros working buttons lite up screen says no signal


1. can you test the power supply for 24v or any other voltages
2. does the main board control the power supply ?
3. what else do I check or what do I replace first ?

The display is working properly if it gives you a no signal message.  I would suspect that the main logic board is not fully seated into the backplane board.  With the power off  pull the logic board out and reseat it.  You can also try gently lifting the logic board upward in the middle Of the board with the power on.  Older boards may sag and have poor contact for the video display.
