Title: Bally 1090-11 MGM Grand Fire Slot Machine Possibly?
Post by: StudlyManly on July 27, 2023, 05:22:37 PM
Hello,
I hope someone can help me.
I got my hands on a '70s era slot Bally slot machine with MGM Grand graphics on it.
I have been told that it may have been in use at the casino when the fire occurred in 1980.
It does show signs of possible smoke damage.
The machine appears to be all there aside from the reel glass so I'm also wondering what the chances are of finding a replacement.
I can't find any information about this specific machine other than generic model info.
I've been trying to post pictures but it keeps saying "Error File too large".
Has anyone ever seen one of these?
Thanks

you can email highest possible resolution pics to slotpics@cdyn.com and I'll stick them on https://bingo.cdyn.com/slots/

the original glass for that game was part number G-388-107-25 and it was specific to the mgm, so odds of finding a spare aren't good.

the generic 25c reel glass for a 1090 was G-388-71

Thanks,
Is there any way to determine if this machine was actually in use at the MGM during the time of the fire?
