Title: Problem reels spinning, nothing on upper screen, no mpu activity

Problem with my  Bally Alpha machine.
Reels spinning, no monitor activity but  red light is on . No mpu activity , atx switch is on.
All green lights by the other switches. Hooked up outside power to the mpu but still no activity

Hi Ken,
   You will need to remove the mpu. Hopefully you can get a key for it. Could be the mpu power supply.

I checked the voltages of the two power supplies. They were good. Is there a separate south power supply for the m p u . Could it be that my m p u is bad.

Yes, this is a 400mhz cpu. The power supply is circled

When you first power up, does anything come on the monitor?

No.   I did notice the light on the back of the monitor  goes green then it turns red

I should get a key for the mpu on Monday. Right now it's locked

I determined the lcd screen works. It says no imput signal
