Title: Another Question..kinda new at this but learning fast
Post by: papajohn on January 17, 2015, 06:37:17 PM
I recently had a power supply failure.  Changed power supply and am now up and running.  (an IGT S2000 TRIPLE DOUBLE 3 reel 5 liner) but upon turning it on today..a couple of days after changing the power supply, no boot up happened and all of the leds were on at the CPU.  Turned off the machine then turned it on and everything started to work properly.  One led was on at the CPU and the game plays fine now.  What caused all the leds to lite up and the machine not work.  No display so I couldn't read what might have happened.  Thanks guys

Well opening and closing the door clears previous errors. You fixed the error and it is working OK.  Too simplistic???  Sometimes it's just that easy.
The original error may have still been there, but opening the door and rebooting might have cleared it. Opening and closing the door on an S2000 will clear most errors. Don't over think it. Maybe you just did all the right things. They're pretty easy to work with and errors are usually easy to clear.
