Title: BILL VALIDATOR NOT WORKING-ANY TIPS

HI

I have a bally 5500 pro slot,that works just fine,but wont take bills. It was that way when I received it.
MODEL # CBA-135-SG-0000-B043
SERIAL # 607719116
BALLY V2.26

What do I need to do to get it up and running to take new bills ect ? I can see a red light on inside the bill opening. When I power up the slot,there is no noise coming from the unit.

Any tip or ideals ?

CBA-135 is for Canadian currency.  You need either a DBV-145 or a DBV-200 for US currency.

Yes, I have a canadian slot and it does also have a CBA-135-SG-0000-B043
however its only working with old canadian bills. Can those unit be updated for the new bills or I need to replace it?
