Has Anyone Changed The Denomination Successfully?

(1/1)

I have seen many threads about changing the denomination of a Fortune 1.  Some speak of Dip Switches, some mention Jumpers.  Has anyone done this with success? Does the coin slot in the door, the coin mech inside of the door, and the coin disc in the hopper have to be changed as well?  Also I would imagine that there may need to be a change of the hopper knife and some adjustments also.  All of the threads seem to die out without conclusion.

I have included a picture of my board to aid in this process

I may want to go from 25cent to 5 cent on my "21 Blackjack" Fortune 1.

Has anyone out there actually done the deed?  What must I do to duplicate your efforts?

Any suggestions or leads would be appreciated.

So what if the screen still says 25 cents.

You could change the hopper shelf disk to 5 cents.
Then change the coin in (coin drop casting) to 5 cents.
Then change the coin acceptor to 5 cents.

The board counts 1's not nickles or quarters so the solution is to change the mechanical components related to the coin size.

You are absolutely right but I am a lunatic.   That 25 cents on the screen would drive me batty.
I have come to terms with the denomination.  If it ain't broke don't fix it.  I will leave well enough alone.

Just put a sticker to cover the "2" part of 25... then you'll be good to go!  :rotfl:

I have come to terms with the denomination.   I am just going to enjoy it as it is.
