Fortune One Draw Poker Board repair

RJ:
Just wanted to say thanks for the Larry Weber lead. I sent him the main board and he turned it around in 2 days. Works perfect.

Well Worth the money.

Now all I have to do is find an Audio Board for this game. The ribbon cable from the Main board is there in the back. No Speaker(s) no speaker wires.

Larry has been there for me to answer many questions.  He does excellent work from what I understand.  We are blessed to have him as a resource.  As for the sound board, in the archives there are a few videos of the Fortune 1's making their sounds.  The sounds are weird to say the least.  You may not want to hear them once you get sound out of the game.  My sound board works some of the time.  I am just as happy when it is not working as I am when it is sounding off.

BTW did you get a total rebuild of your board?  What did you get done?  How much should we expect to pay?  I am sure that Larry is more than fair when it comes to pricing.

I like the game king sounds. It seems like something is missing with out sound. Push comes to shove I will key off the counters and put in some type of sound when coins go in and you win.  I think I have a few old greeting card sound chips laying around I can put in.

One thing I noticed is when you win with a Flush it racks up 25 credits not 30.  The lower 3 payouts plus the JOB is the same as the payout table.

Larry charged me $125 money order I feel is more than fair, and I included a pre paid return label.

From what I was reading on the old forum the tech did not have to do much to get the board going again.
Take a look at my old thread on the game.

It is fun to play. Funny how I have been playing the 25 cent machines and you win  a125 quarters it's a lot of $$ yet 125 nickels "...... Still a lot of fun. :)

Debating on the bulb replacement for the switches, after all I have read.
