You should be good to go once you change the battery.  At most you may need to do a few different combinations of the self-test button and the jackpot reset keyswitch on the side of the machine to get it all up and running, but I don't think you'll need any special chips.

Thanks again for your help.  I will get a battery Friday and by Saturday I should know if I have any other problems.
