Texted a couple members in the Houston area last week to check on their safety during the storm. Received a call tonight from (Slottex) Danny Shimek's wife stating that he had passed away in late June. Very sad to hear this news. He will be missed.

Very sorry to hear this.  I had talked to Danny on the phone a while back-couple months I think.  Never was any problems with him and was quite the "character" on the phone.  He will be missed,  My Condolences and Yes he is in slot heaven and other things heaven has to offer.
