Build my stands using white oak

(1/2) > >>

dailey:
I'm an amateur woodworker. Each time I get a new slot I build a stand for it using white oak. It's very plain and simple in design but solid. Lately I've been very busy as my slots seem to multiply.

rokgpsman:
That's a very nice job on making the stand. If shipping costs weren't too crazy you could probably make and sell several of these to various folks here on NLG.   :cool_thumb_up:

Amechanic:
Those look as good if not better then the one you buy. I not crazy about the wood stands with the light inside and the glass doors. They just seem to be too tall when you get the machines on them. Yours look to be about  22-24" high.

dailey:
The stand in the photo is 21" high. I have several that are 27". I'm about to start my next one for my latest S9000 'Ultimate Party Spin". It will be only 17" tall so the topper will clear my 8-foot ceiling, and that's with the candle removed.

Amechanic:
How much does white oak cost per board foot now a days? How much are you material cost?
