If you are new to slot machines, this is not the machine you want to get into. It has long since been orphaned and parts are really difficult to get, so if you have a component that fails, it might be a nightmare to get it fixed.

Here s another one on Craig's list. Looks like its older than the one on eBay. As Rickhunter mentioned this is not a machine that you would find parts for Easley.

Sunrise Side:
There is some recent updates for the Odyssey that keeps them very functional.  New WBA bill acceptor modification for the new $100. Update to replace the CRT monitor with LCD touchscreen and new  hard drives for the MPU if it fails.  Those are the weak points of the Odyssey that are now repairable if needed.

The mainboard is now near impossible to get as well, if that fails...  I loved the odyssey machine and I always wanted to buy one.  A friend of mine offered me 2 working units plus all the parts, but I turned him down, knowing full well that maintaining these machines would be more problem than they are worth.  I opted instead to get into Bally Alpha and have not looked back since.
