Just a little METAL cabinet restore tip , I use turtle wax trim restorer, makes faded metal look like new ,just wipe it on let dry for a hour and good to go,

Great idea.  I used armor all to do the same thing.  Makes the black metal really pop.

For black plastic I use "Pig Spit", designed for trim on Harley Davidsons and is available at any HD dealership and some independent motorcycle shops. Works better, lasts longer than Armour All and no greasy feeling or nasty odor.
