cherry master boards

(1/1)

brianfink:
I got a bunch of used cherry master boards and 2 of them are the new cherry 2000. They seem to work fine at first then after a while the screen gets jumbled and they lock up. The 5 volts on the power supply is set at 5.24 as per the instructions on the original boards in the machines. It does not give a voltage range on the new cherry 2000 boards. Do different cherry master boards have different operating voltage?

dextrose42:
Your best bet is to run those, and most 8 liners in general at 5.1 vdc measured at the game board.
There are some that need higher, but 5.1 is generally safe.

Thanks for the response I set them at 5.12 a couple days ago and they have bin running fine. Although one of them, after I go into settings menu the graphics get distorted around the edges, but it still works, and after I turn it off and on again it seems fine. Kind of weird but not to big of a deal I guess.
