System:  SNK Neo Geo MVS MV1C

Symptom: Pink "garbage" on screen at power up.

Cause: Completely dead or disabled BIOS.

Resolution:  Replace BIOS with stock IC or AM27C1024 (or equivalent) programmed with working BIOS code.


I have tested disabling the BIOS on several MV1C units and always get something resembling the image below when I do.    Hope this may help someone in the future.
