SG-1 Bill Acceptor not working

Picked up a Sigma Draw Poker Model SG-1 that all works except the bill acceptor.  The bill acceptor doesn't cycle or make any noise at all.  I believe the power supply is good and the DBV is bad.  The factory label says DBV-45-SG.  On the bottom there is a sticker that someone added later (I believe identifying a software update) which says DBV-45-SH.  Questions:
1)  Are there other DBV models that I can replace this with (easy swap)?
2)  Is there a functional difference between the -SG and -SH?
3)  Any suggestions for troubleshooting?
