acres Tracking for a s2000

i got an acres Player Tracking with a card reader and need help on the power to get it to work ...i ran 5 volts and the card reader and the board was flashing green  then red  and there was a green light that was steady and the front was lit up ( Card Reader not the display )..the software is windows ce which i suppose is on a chip..i was reading it also needed a 12 volt as well ..Found out where the data is ..From what i was able to figure out that the only wires are the data and power otherwise its complete..any help would be great..
