WMS BB1 start issue
alfa75:
I have a problem with my WMS BB1, it does not start after a transport. I have checked the plugs from the power supply (if they are plugged in correctly) and also the other plug contacts. Can anyone tell me what could be the problem here and where I can look for the error? Currently only briefly turns the fan and then everything stops like this (see video).

pull the mpu out and see if the cabinet powers up. If it doesn't power up, you probably have some screw loose shorting something somewhere. If it powers up, then reseat the mpu back and see if it comes up. If it doesn't, check the mpu to make sure nothing came loose inside.

Thank you very much for your time and help. It doesn't start either with or without mpu. Could the power supply also be the problem, or can I somehow test or measure it if it is not connected? I will remove the backboard to see if there is anything stuck behind it that could cause a contact. There were several loose metal parts and screws lying around.

Is the power cord inserted fully into the power supply box?
The cords can come loose sometimes.....especially after transport.
Also, there's two fuses on the power supply box.
Look on the side. You'll see two round black fuse holders.
They come out by turning with a small flat headed screwdriver a 1/4 turn.
Pull out the plug power plug 1st please.
Once out, the fuses can be checked for continuity with a multimeter.
If you want to see if there's certain voltages coming out of your power supply, there's indicator led lights down under the MPU on the backplane board towards the right-hand side of it.
I've attached for you a photo of the green power leds from my test machine...>>>

backplane board should have all led light as shown and mpu needs all red led lights lighted
