Still need some help here.

I loaded the new game chip into the system and got error code 61. I pressed the reset button and I get 61-1, but that is as far as I can get things to happen. Turning the key does nothing. If I turn the machine off, and then back on, I get Code 61 again.

Since I put the old game chip in backwards, do I need to do a clear again and then put the game new game chip back in?

Thanks again to all for the assistance here. Slot newbie that is totally "frustrated" with no real idea what to do here.

Close the door first before turning the jackpot reset key.

Thanks...I did do that...was turning the wrong key...figures.

Now I got the reels to spin once, but that was it. Stuck on 0000 and 0000 on the next line

I have also done a clear and it ran thru things, but when I place the new game chip back in, I still end up at the 0000 0000 1 read out
