IGT PE Draw Poker Screen is black

We have an IGT PE Draw Poker machine. We were going out of town for an extended period of time, so we turned it off.  It was off for 10 days. It worked fine before we left, and now, the screen is black.  It makes a bit of a whirring sound.  I can deal and hold cards (though I can't see them).  Is there any hope?? Help!!!  We love this machine!!

Next time this happens, and it probably will, see if the game plays while dark. Put a quarter in and see if the machine is functioning ok. It will not accept a quarter if the game board isn’t running.
If the game does play your problem is likely the monitor board. It is likely a Ceronix 1492 and very repairable. You can send just the board to a supporting repair shop or have a local NLG member help you out.
