Barcrest MPU4 Varta Battery Replacement

Hello all,

I have a IGT S+ Pinball machine and have been doing some research as this is my first machine. It’s running great as of now but I’m seeing that there can be potential damage caused by the varta battery in the Barcrest MPU4 in the topbox. Just wanted to see if anyone could give me some guidance in removing the MPU4 from the topbox and replacing the battery.

Just remove it. It's not needed.

The battery isn’t needed? Also looking for something like a guide on how to physically remove the MPU from the top box as well.
