S+ Credit Limit?

Good Day to You All. I’ve been going through a bunch of threads discussing the same issue that I’m having. Either  My chips won’t allow the limit increase, or I’m doing something wrong in updating section #7,#8.  I try changing the limit from 300 to 1000 and the machine goes right back to 300.
I have 2 Haywire boards, (pictured). The board with the SP1274 does Not work with My machine setup. The other one matches My reels, etc. Does Anyone know if this SP605/SS4084 can have the limits changed?

Credit Limit   Automatically matches the maximum hopper setting that can be set by DIP switch or in the self test mode.



Try setting the MPU dips 1-4 to ON....5-8 OFF

1274 is a Type 2 chip.
The only reason that it would not work, is if the chip is bad or the board is 16mhz and not compatible with the chip.

I have attached the PSR for the Type 2 (1274) and the common 1271 (which is not type 2). Both have the option to change the hopper limits independently.
