My Reel Touch Lost All It's Lights

(1/2) > >>

Captain Hook:
I haven't used my slots since the Holidays and I decided to turn them on today for my company thats coming over for Easter.

Everything booted up fine except for my Denver Duck Reel Touch. All of the lights in the Belly and the Top Box are out and there

is nothing lit in the Digital displays. The Video comes on and the machine appears to start to boot and when it gets to the Blue Reel Touch

screen it say's Initializing and it sits there for several minutes and does nothing then it will go back and start the boot process again.

There is no movement of the reels.

Perhaps a power supply? ??? ???

Please help.   :Scratch-Head: :Scratch-Head:

cowboygames:
I would start by unplugging the ballasts to the lighting to see if it comes up. If it does, then plug them back in one at a time till it fails then replace that ballast. Perhaps could be a dead battery also. Check your coin battery on the MPU and if you have an enhanced 1270 board, check the green varta battery also

qbert:
First check ballast as cowboy says above, if that doesn't help I would suspect a bad power supply. Had a Duck do the same thing not too long ago. Turned out to be the power supply. Easy fix.

I had the exact same thing happen to me and it was the power supply behind the reels.
The power supply sends out  3 24v and 3 13v  supplying  different items.

Captain Hook:
Sounds like an easy fix. Now if anyone has the Power Supply I need please PM me with details.

Thanks much

Captain Hook   :thank_you:
