Amcoe 8 liner rom swaps

I have a cb97 here running on a et 97 board I wanna swap the Roms for fb96 I see they are available for mame but the files in no way give their location on the pcb ....... Am I ok with just rom swaps or do I also need to change the square chip on the daughter board ??? Hopefully someone can chime in
